This process tool plugin allows you to burn native tokens and NFTs that was previously minted on the Hedera DLT.


  • Do ensure that the treasury account possesses the native tokens or NFT(s) in order to burn.
  • Do ensure that you have sufficient balance for the required transaction fee to burn assets.

Plugin Properties

Configure Hedera Burn Token Tool

Operator IDPaste in your operator account ID, according to the selected network type.
Operator Key

Paste in your operator account private key, according to the selected network type.

Network Type

Select the network to interact on:

  • Mainnet
  • Previewnet
  • Testnet

"Mainnet" uses real-world currency(s).

Please use "Previewnet" or "Testnet" for testing purposes.

By default, this plugin pack connects to official Hedera public nodes.

Token Burning Properties


Select a form to retrieve token burning data from.

All fields from the selected form will be made available for field mapping in the sections below.

Minting Account
Account Mnemonic Phrase

This is the account secret key that matches the supply key specified for the token.

Only accepts Hash Variable that points to the account's encrypted stored mnemonic phrase.


Account Mnemonic Phrase MUST be strictly secured at all times, and only viewable to the intended user.

Do NOT key in the plain-text mnemonic phrase here.

Anyone who possesses this phrase has full unrestricted control and can do irreparable damage!

Token Burning Configuration

Burn Type

Select the type of asset to burn:

  • Native Token
  • NFT
Token ID

The unique identifier of the token to burn.

Amount To Burn

This property will only appear when Burn Type is Native Token.

Amount of native tokens to burn.

If Amount To Burn value's decimal points exceeds the token's set decimals, the exceeded numbers are ignored.

NFT Serial Number

This property will only appear when Burn Type is NFT.

The NFT serial number to burn.

Expects an integer value.

Store Response To Workflow Variable



Is Transaction Validated

To indicate if this transaction has been successfully validated.

Consensus TimestampTo store the timestamp of when the majority of the network members received the transaction. At this point, the transaction becomes final and verifiable.
Transaction IDTo store the transaction ID of the transaction performed.
Transaction Explorer URLTo store an auto-generated URL to see transaction details on a public ledger explorer. Default is Dragonglass.
