Map to Workflow Variable option allows one to make use of the value in a Workflow Variable to be treated as one of the followings:-

• Group Code
• Username
• Department Code
• Head of Department (Department Code)

This option is particularly useful if the assignee(s) can only be decided in the runtime itself.
