Hello Everyone.

I have several select boxes on a form:

  • Postcode
  • District
  • Subdistrict

Because there are thousands of options for them, I imported each set of data for each select box via CSV files and the import tool.

My question is, how can I now group these so that, say, if postcode XXX is selected then Districts 1, 2, 3 appear?

I know how to do this by manually inputting each option and using the Grouping option to group them accordingly.

But as my options were imported externally and the Options list is empty, I don't know how to use the same Grouping option, or is there a different method for this?

Many thanks.

Hi, you can refer to Dynamic Cascading Drop-Down List and use the Options binder. For multiple dependencies, there is Filter SelectBox Options from Multiple Dependency Fields.

Anders, I don't suppose you can also help with this request and provide me with the missing piece I need to link a form with a subform to view all the data in a datalist?

How can I get subform values in a data list?

        Thank you so much!

Thank you very much, Anders, I will take a look at that plugin.
