Dear all,

In Details LDAP Plugin, I see "This plugin provides a user directory implementation that retrieves user and group entries from an LDAP server."

If I don't have an LDAP Server (I just have an Active Directory), Can I retrieves user and group entries from an Active Directory ?

    Active Directory (AD) is directory service, while LDAP is the directory access protocol. And AD supports LDAP. So using LDAP Plugin, we can connect to AD to retrieve users and groups. In fact, the sample default values suggested in LDAP Plugin properties are made with Active Directory as assumption.
