    Is it possible to have creating a new user be part of the workflow?

    I would like a non-admin user to be able to create a user using a Userview that I create.  This will send out an email and start a workflow process for the new user, who will login to see a different Userview, where they will fill out a form and submit.

    Is this possible?  And, if so, how do I go about it?

      Hi,

      There could be a number of ways to do it. 

      It's possible to write a plugin which calls the Joget Java API to create the user. That plugin would then be mapped to a tool as part of the workflow. There's some info on developing plugins in the Knowledge Base at Developing Plugins, or you could use the BeanShell plugin for quick scripting.

      Alternatively, you could configure Joget to use a different Directory Manager plugin so that users are managed from an external system. In this case the user creation could be part of the external system, or the workflow could use plugins to create the user externally through a web service or JSON call.
