May i knw wat is the function of edit/view setting in activity's tool(activity form editor) n oso the exception default/exception in transition??

In the "Activity form editor" tab for Activity properties, all workflow variables declared in the process will be listed. By default, all workflow variables are in view-only mode for all activities. But, if a form mapped to an activity is setting / updating the value of a workflow variable, then you need to tick the checkbox in "Activity form editor", to make this workflow variable editable.
So for example, if you have an activity named "Leave Application Approval", and the form mapped to this activity will be updating the value of "status" workflow variable, then you need to set the "status" workflow variable as editable, for "Leave Application Approval" activity.
"Exception" is more applicable for our use. You may refer to Deadlines and Escalations for further info.
