Hi,

I am trying to create an approval app by taking inspiration from the Internal Service request app. But when ever I try to create a cutom HTML field by following the #tablename.arguement# syntax and click on submit, i get a loading screen on the form builder page and the page never moves forward.

and my custom html field does not work.

Thanks for responding Matthew King  and Ian I am getting this error on the app hosted on aws. but when i do this on the cloud hosted free option provided by Joget, It is working fine. Is there some resource which describes the exact hardware provisioning to be done on AWS for hosting joget on AWS ?

It should behave the same irrespective of where you host your platform. Try checking the logs and browser console for errors, that would usually pinpoint the problem.

Would be helpful if you can export your app (that has only the one form with custom html issue) and attach it here for the community to check/try out.

I checked the documentation on Hash Variable but could not find a hash variable called #tablename.arguement#. Do you mean Hash Variable#FormDataHashVariable for example #form.tablename.fieldid# ?
