Formutil select box text

Hi all,

I am currently retrieving the text of a select-box selected element trough some JS code but, just out of curiosity, is it possible to achieve the same result using the JS API FormUtil? And, if so, how?

      You can try Javascript API#getValue(fieldId) or Javascript API#getValues(fieldId)

        Hi Bastiana,

        I gave it a quick try before posting the question, but I only managed to get the value and not the text shown in the select box...
