In Community Version (7.0.31) on docker I have setup a process with 4 lanes with the following assigned Mappings:

  • Initiator: initiator_group
  • Author: Performer's Department Activity Definition ID: runProcess
  • Approval 1. level (CDO): Performer's HOD Activity Definition ID: runProcess
  • Approval 2. level (Risa): assigned user

A department was created with 4 users, user 1 was assigned the HOD role.

User 2 initiates the approval process. It reaches the approval for HOD. But when the 1. approver sends the status to rework - the task is not assigned to the whole department.

Expected outcome would be - all 4 users in the same department like user 2 (initiator) should see the task.

Is this a bug or a feature?

        1. approver sends the status to rework - the task is not assigned to the whole department.

Was it working before in earlier version?

        Which swimlane?

It was never working - it is reproducible - swimlane = author. Expectation would be, it would be assigned to "Author: Performer's Department" as defined in the actor permission management.

Thanks for your kind feedback. It has been fixed in 7.0.33. Please do try again with the latest version.
