You can categorize your users by organization.  Each user can belong to a specific department of a specific organization.  This will ultimately help streamline your process participants when your user list starts to grow.
To manage your organization, click on Setup Organization Chart in the Setup Users menu.

  • A Department belongs to only one Organization if both the ID and Name is the same.
  • A Department may contain sub-departments.
  • A user can be tied to one or more department.

Grade is another useful attribute to distinguish/assign to user.

  • A grade belongs to only one organization.
  • A user can only be tied to one grade.
