Hi,

We have a Joget installation onsite which is working very well.  However, there is one thing that is causing a little grief.

We have a userform for expenditure request approvals.  This form allows files to be uploaded (quotes, etc.) for review.  This works 90% of the time and attaches fine.  On the other times, if a person attaches the file, but accidently doesn't fill in a mandatory field, it will come back advising they need to fill in the form, and even though the file looks like it is still attached, it gets dropped when the user submits.  You can get around this by re-attaching the file after it comes back about the missed field, but I was hoping there is an easy fix to fix this instead or working around it as some users have to resubmit requests all the time.

Thanks

Luke

  1. Users are using IE8 and Ie9 and it is happening on both

    1. Hi Luke,

Thanks for reporting this problem. Can you provide us with more details such as the setup environment, experience on other browsers and the version of Joget that you are running?

      Cheers

  2. Hi Hugo,

Thanks for the follow up, I also tried it in firefox and it does the same thing.  We are running v3 Build 220 of the community version.  We have it running locally on a server with a MySql backend.  Basically the attached document still shows up like below, but when you hit submit it dissapears.  If I didn't miss any of the mandatory fields though, it works fine.

    Thanks
    Luke

    1. Hi, Did this ever get resolved, as i believe we have a similar issue in the version 4 we are using?

      1. Hi Joel,

I never heard back about this one.  Our users are quite used to it now.  I upgraded to v4 last night so we'll see if that has any impact on it.

        Thanks

        Luke
