Hi

Across all our systems we use the firstname[dot]lastname format for usernames.

Joget does not allow me to include [dot] in the usernames. 

This is a must requirement as our LDAP system & messaging system also have the usernames with dots.

Please suggest a solution for this.

    I tried editing the user datab and then directly adding the username as firstname[dot]lastname.

    Upon saving, the username was active in the system.

    Can I do anything to stop the validation it does while creating the username from the UI??
