Hi all,

I would like to ask on this forum of senior on Joget Workflow as now I am facing almost dead end on my issue. Here is the issue, I create a form request and need approval from my operations manager, but for some reason the operation manager cannot open the apps, so our user expectations is, if the operation manager can not done it, can be thrown to branch manager to override the form approval. I already tried the deadline, but after time lapse i put 3 minutes, still i can see the pending items on operations manager inbox.

The concept is i need to put my request to two inbox but after one approved then the other inbox will gone, can it done? i tried the Routes so i can split the request to two inbox, then i tried Deadlines and Escalations but both still can show the inbox. please advice. thank you.

Regards,

Guntur HS

      Hi,

For cases like approval escalation, you need to set the deadline execution to "synchronous".

Also, you need to enable the Process Deadline Checker Interval in Settings by setting an interval value.

      Hi Guntur,

Why don't you map the activity to the 2 manager, so of 1st manager didn't approve the 2nd manager can approve.

Hi, If you don't want the previous activity to be closed, then you should set the deadline execution to "asynchronous"

here is my workflow, so i want to throw the request from manager inbox (above), to manager below, so if the first manager can not approve, the second manager can override the approval, basically the request should move to another inbox.

i have tried the deadline on timer setting, but the request are sent back to the requester. Thank you all for your appreciation and help.

        regards,

        Guntur HS
