Dear all,

I love very much this product that I would like to use mainly as a "app" designer and workflow. The only problem I have is relating to data. Let me explain. We already have a datatabase (mysql) with all the necessary info : Such as company names, addresses. It is from these data source that we would like to build Lists / and forms using Joget.

I understand from my evalulation and playing witha pplication that it has its own native data objects ( datalists, ...etc). Can Joget work exclusively with an external database?

Thanks for your guidance on architecture,

Hakem,

I'm not sure about this as I am working through this myself.  I have found some answers in the workflow v5 knowledge base under the Custom Database Configuration section, there is inference of how to setup the Joget tables in your own MySQL database

You can connect to external databases using JDBC plugins e.g. JDBC Datalist Database Binder and other JDBC plugins in the Joget Marketplace
