Hello Good day!

I'm trying to create an application for requisition purposes, Please see below procedure for my application.

  1. The user/participant will fill up the form and submit it to Head of Department.
  2. Then the Head of Department will have an approval for the request.
  3. Whatever the results, approve or reject by the HOD, an email should be sent to the user/participant.

My Question is, How can I send email to requestor/participant, I already tried to use #performer.activityDefId.email#  hash variable and etc at To(Participant ID), however, still gets nothing. but when i filled up my email at To (Specific email address), I received the email.

Below are the actual screenshot.

Hoping someone could assist.

Thanks a lot!

      Hi Hugo,

Just to add, I check my Tomcat Logs, the "To" parameter in email sending is null,

Who is your "requestor"? Did you map it in participant mapping? Does your user has email set?

      Hi Hugo,

Thanks a lot for your response, Please refer to below screenshot on what I have did.

Where "To(Participant ID)"  is equal to Participant ID in the Design Process

Kindly please advise If it happens I missed something.... I just need to advise the requestor whether his/her requests was approved by approver.

      Thank you very much,

        Hi there,

The attribute "To (participant ID)" refers to participant you declared in process builder.

For example, in the article Process Builder, the participant ID for "Claimant" is "claimant".

        Hope this helps. Thanks.

        Hugo
