The Run Process option available in Process Builder allows the administrator/App Designer to quickly start a process instance of the current displayed process. The intended use case is to verify the process before publishing the App. |
When the administrator/App Designer has finished building the process, they can click on the "Run Process" button as shown in Figure 1 to test the process.
You can use the "Run Process" feature without publishing the process. |

The current running process can also be checked under Monitoring Apps > Running Processes as shown in Figure 3, whereas the completed process can be seen under Monitoring Apps > Completed Processes as shown in Figure 4.
