You can try to check your server log for the error message. The log should list down in details on why your server start up failed.

I am new to Joget. I have download and installed Joget v4. But when after I click on "Start Joget Server" and open the "App Centre", it pop up the "HTTP Status 404 - /jw" page as per the insert photo here:

I have the same problem and do not understand the answer. It looks as if quite a few people have this issue. I have checked Port 8080 as another forum suggested that not being able to access the port might be the problem but this is free.
You have to check Tomcat log to find out more details.
