Hi

My App is ready and i want to upload it on the server. How can I export my app from my laptop to a server, What are the procedure to follow and What settings may be required.

Also, apart from this, how can i change domain from localhost:8080 to a customize address.

Thanks

Kamran

      Hi Kamran

      To change the port, go to your Joget directory as follows:

          C:\Joget-v5-Enterprise5\apache-tomcat-8.0.20\conf\server.xml

       and edit the server.xml file: Search in the file and you can find the line:

          <Connector URIEncoding="UTF-8" port="8080" protocol="HTTP/1.1" connectionTimeout="20000" redirectPort="8443" />

      Change the port number,  save the xml file and restart your Joget Workflow.

        If you are looking to deploy the app on a server, there is actually very little work that has to be done. (smile)

        Just go to Properties and Export in your app, press export and then import the app on your production server.

        However, you need to check that you still have the same plugins installed, user groups and plugin default settings like in your local dev environment for everything to work properly.
