Hello

How can I map participants to more than one department?

      Hi Hussein,

      Related to your question you can assign a User to only one Department. So a user can belong to many groups but can only belong to one department.

       Alternatively you could use of creating a Groups which is more beneficial then from Departments approach. Groups are usually agnostic from an organizational structure viewpoint. Lets say, for instance, that an organization has 10 departments and each department has a secretary. In this case, Secretary would be a group in itself and the members of the Secretary group would all belong to different departments.

      So Department are strict and base on your Organization structure but Groups could be more flexible depending on your requirements. Just put the User in a new Group and give access in your UserView.

      I suggest you to play around with Groups which is probably the best way to overcome access level issues.
