How to change/ define the Tab order in form ?

How to change / define the Tab order in form ? Example when there are multiple columns in a form how to go vertical vs Horizontal when pressing Tabs ?

      By default tab order goes top to bottom, then to the top of the next column and down within each section.  So this is a silly hack, but if you put each line of stuff you want to tab left to right into its own section, and put each field into its own column, tab will go left to right.  I'm sure there's a better answer, but this works for the form I'm building right now.

        Up/down arrow keys for vertical movement.

        Left/right arrow keys for horizental movement.

        Tabs/shift tab also for horizental movement.
