Joget DX 8 Stable Released
The stable release for Joget DX 8 is now available, with a focus on UX and Governance.
I can pull a list of users via the Form Variables and show them in a drop down. But then how do I assign a user to the next activity? I'd like to choose which user within a certain group will be assigned to the next task (and all tasks in that groups swimlane). Suggestions? Is this possible?

Nvm. I found the solution. You can do it this way:

Actually I still have one minor issue....
The workflow variable is set successfully. However the username isn't added to the 'List of Pending'.
If I go into Monitor Processes and look at the open activity I can see the workflow variable is set to the username. And List of Pending is blank. If I click the 'Re-evaluate assignments' button it adds the username from the workflow variable to the List of Pending. How can I make this happen without manually clicking the button?
Help?

Nvm. It now works! I had a Null Pointer error from something unrelated I was doing incorrectly. This example definitely works:

Hi,
as far as I understood you cannot assign a specific Activity to a User, but you can assign a Participant defined in your process to a specific User (Therefore, it the participant is associated to a single activity you will associate the user to that activity). Here you find different ways to assign the participant to a user, I think you are interested in the one that uses a workflow variable to do it.
