Joget DX 8 Stable Released
The stable release for Joget DX 8 is now available, with a focus on UX and Governance.
Dear all,
I have tried using plugins deadlines, for automatic escalation, but there are problems in the participant mapping.
especially if we use the participant mapping - map to org chart
for the example:
i have made organization structure like this
>Manager area : doni (hod of manager area)
>>Head of dept sales : yudi (report to : doni)
>>>Staff : adika (report to : yudi)
then i made this worfklow
and seeting deadline parameter
we set 1 minute for automatic escalation
then set the participant mapping
using map to org chart
on participant yudi :
choose :map to org chart > map to performer > performer HOD
Where the performer executed > activity 1 adika
on participant doni:
choose :map to org chart > map to performer > performer HOD
Where the performer executed > activity 2 yudi

and the problem is,
when we run this process as adika, when we finish for the memo
then we go to yudi inbox, do nothing, don't process the memo, just wait for 1-2 minute, as we refresh the page, memo has move to another user
then we go to doni inbox, nothing listed
maybe
on activity 3 doni, is not correctly mapped.
we can see the information on monitoring process that:
activity 3 doni
State : open.not_running.not_started
List of Pending : null
if we run this process by assign as adika to make the memo, and assign again as yudi to process the memo and assign again as doni to process the memo
it run normal
any idea

Hi,
Your way of implementing deadline seems to be correct.
I don't really get you here. Mind to elaborate more? Are they of the same activity? Make sure that each of the participant has its HOD defined except for the last participant of course.
As a side note, it's good to name your participants and activities by following some standard conventions rather than fixing them to some people's name when you go live, at least. It will be quite hard to trace and debug when there's issue arises.

but i think, joget has a problem with this escalation
may be just try this example like above on computer
i just try in many way. but it wont work well,

There's no problem with the escalation feature. Maybe you want to start from sketch again and try again.
If you are getting into any sort of error, feel free to paste the tomcat log here as well as on the steps to reproduce the error and we can have a look for you.

SLA and timer doesn't seems to work for me as well for version 3. If someone has tried the same, could you please share it with everyone?

May I know if you have figured out? It is also not working for Enterprise version 3. It escalated but the email configure using email plugin tool doesn't send. Can someone please advise?
