I just found Joget and setup the virtual appliance to give it a look. We are looking for a workflow tool that can handle IT processes and before I invest time, and possibly dollars, I'd like to see if it will do what we need. One example would be for new user enrollments. Essentially, the requestor fills out a form with all of the needs listed (via checkboxes and such) and then we manually reach out to business owners for approvals before creating the account and giving access to the requested applications. Each application has a separate business owner.

I'd like a workflow that will offer the form (which I found to be very neat in Joget). They would then click in check boxes for each app required. Then, based on the apps required, approval emails will go out to the individual business owners. This should be a parallel process where each business owner gets their approval requests at the same time. Owners would then indicate approved or not, with notes (like in the travel example). I would also like to see CC's to the requester so they will have built in status updates. Once all required, and any/all/none optional applications are approved, I'd like an email to the IT admin for account creation and the ability to close the process.

Ideally, we can allow this via LDAP authentication against our AD tree so there won't be any user admin required.

I'd also like to brand the site so it looks like our own internal intranet.

So, is all of this doable? This is the most complicated IT process we have at the moment but there are others that are similar, such as PC and software request forms.

Thanks,

Chris
